Biography

REV. FRANK A. DAVIS, III, TH.D.
Proverbs 18:16 says “A man’s gift maketh room for
him and bringeth him before great men.”
This has been the testimony of Pastor Frank A. Davis, III. Born the eldest of three children to Mr. and
Mrs. Frank A. Davis, Jr., he learned at an early age that God had invested much
in him.
Pastor Davis was educated in the Orleans Parish
School System of New Orleans, Louisiana where the gift of singing opened the
door to a college education at Dillard University. Not finished with his investment in Pastor Davis, God called him
to the gospel ministry where the gift of God began to flourish.
Pastor Davis was educated in the gospel ministry at
the Union Baptist College and Theological Seminary and the Christian Bible
College of Louisiana. He presently
holds the degree of Doctor of Theology.
The Lord has placed into the stewardship of Pastor
Davis the founding of the Bibleway Missionary Baptist Church of New Orleans,
Louisiana, and the pastorate of the Little Bethel Baptist Church in Amite,
Louisiana.
The ministry of Pastor Davis is further blessed by
holding several positions: in the
National Baptist Convention of America, Inc., Pastor Davis is the former
soloist for Dr. E. Edward Jones, President, as well as currently serving as an
instructor in the Congress of Christian Workers. He is the Moderator of the Christian Ministers’ Union of New
Orleans and Vicinity. In addition,
Pastor Davis holds the position of President of The Board of Directors of Christian
Bible College of Louisiana, and he is the President of the Congress of
Christian Education of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist General Association. Pastor Davis is also the weekly facilitator
for “The Study Hour”, a weekly television broadcast of the current Sunday
School Lesson, airing on WHNO Channel 20 in the Southeast Louisiana area each
Sunday at 6:30 a.m. as well as a weekly radio broadcast which airs on WLNO AM
1060 at 8:30 a.m. each Saturday AND on WABL 1570 AT 6:00 A.M. on Sundays in the
Amite-Hammond area.
God has given Pastor Davis a very lovely wife, the
former Peggy Williams and three wonderful children.
Surely, the Bible is true when it reminds us: “A
man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”
